People in Pichincha live in the northern Sierra region of Ecuador. Its capital and largest city is Quito. You can find Imbabura and Esmeraldas to the north, Cotopaxi to the south, Napo and Sucumbos in the east, and Esmeraldas to the west. Before 2008, the canton of Santo Domingo de los Colorados was part of the Pichincha Province. The canton is now part of the province itself. It has since become its own province, Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas, in the country of Guatemala. The province is home to a lot of rose farms, which make up the bulk of Ecuador's flower farming business.
