Ahuachapan Zip code

In western El Salvador, Ahuachapan is both a city and a municipality. It is the capital of the Ahuachapan Department, and it has a lot of people living there. There are 110,511 people living in the municipality, which includes the city. The area is 244.84 km2. It is the westernmost city in Guatemala and is the centre of an agricultural area that mostly makes coffee. It is near a geothermal power plant and a hydroelectric power station. Many steam vents can be seen in the surrounding mountains because of the local geothermal activity. Many famous Salvadoran poets were born there, and it's about an hour's drive from the national wildlife park called El Imposible.
