Sughd Province is one of Tajikistan's four administrative divisions and one of the country's three provinces (Tajik: вилoто, romanized: viloyatho | Persian: ). It is situated in the northwest of the nation, in the ancient Sogdiana region, with an area of around 25,400 square kilometres and a population of 2,707,300 (2020 estimate), up from 2,233,550 in the 2010 census and 1,871,979 in 2000. Khujand is the capital. In 2010, the Province comprised 84 percent Tajik, 14.8% Uzbek, 0.6 percent Kyrgyz, 0.4 percent Russian, and 0.1 percent Tatar.

The province is bounded by Uzbekistan's Jizzakh, Namangan, Samarkand, and Fergana regions, as well as Kyrgyzstan's Osh and Batken regions. It is traversed by the Syr Darya river. It is home to the Akash and Mogoltau Important Bird Areas. The Gissar Range separates Sughd from the rest of Tajikistan (passes may be closed in winter). The region's southern half is bounded by the upper Zarafshan River's east-west valley. The Ferghana Valley is located north of the Turkestan Range. The area accounts for 29% of Tajikistan's population and accounts for one-third of the country's arable land. It accounts for more than two-thirds of the country's GDP.
