Aparan Postal code

Aparan is a town and urban municipal community in Armenia. It is in the Aragatsotn Province, about 50 kilometres northwest of the capital, Yerevan, and is called Aparan. There were 6,451 people living there in 2011. Aparan had a population of about 5,300 people in 2016. The name Aparan is thought to come from the Armenian word Aparank, which means a royal palace. Kasagh, Paraznavert, Abaran, and Abaran Verin are just some of the names the town has had over the years. As time went on and the name changed, it was called Bash Aparan until 1935, when it was changed to Aparan.
