Santo Domingo Oeste is a town in the Dominican Republic. It is part of the province of Santo Domingo. It is part of the greater Santo Domingo metropolitan area, which is the Dominican Republic's "de facto capital." It is home to the Dominican Republic's Constitutional Court and the Central Electoral Commission, both of which are important government bodies.
