About Dakahlia
Dakahlia Governorate is a governorate in Egypt that is northeast of Cairo. Its size is about 3,500 km2. Its capital is Mansoura, and it is in the country of Egypt. According to Egypt's Ministry of Antiquities, in February 2020, Egyptian archaeologists will find 83 tombs that date back to 4,000 B.C. These tombs are called Naqada III. Some small pottery pots in different shapes, as well as sea shells, makeup tools, eyeliner pots, and jewels, were found in the grave. It was in April 2021 when Egyptian archaeologists said that they had found 110 burial tombs at the Koum el-Khulgan archaeological site. In the Predynastic Period there were 68 oval-shaped tombs and 37 rectangular-shaped tombs. In the Second Intermediate Period, there were 37 rectangular-shaped tombs. In the Naqada III era, the rest of them were. There were also tombs with the bodies of adults and a baby, ovens, stoves, and a group of mud-brick foundations, as well as cylindrical vessels and a bowl with geometric designs.
